Downtown Cleveland Mardi Gras Parade

Laissez les bons temps rouler! Come out to downtown Cleveland to celebrate our Carnival-adjacent time of year with a festive Mardi Gras parade! Everyone is welcome to this family-friendly event, where you'll see bands, dancers, and fun parade floats! Want to be in the parade? Floats, golf carts, and walking groups (with decorated doggos welcome!) are all invited to participate! Sign-ups for the parade will open February 1 and will close Monday, February 21. Sign-ups will be online, with a $10 entry fee for each group. For more information on Chamber and Team Cleveland Main Street Events, please contact the Chamber of Commerce at 662-843-2712.

Time

The parade will begin at 4pm at the south end of Sharpe Ave and move north on Sharpe Ave, making the loop onto Cotton Row. The route will end at the Chamber of Commerce parking lot. Floats, decorated golf carts, walkers and pets are all welcome. Line-up will begin as early as 2 p.m. but you must be in line by 3:15 p.m. to be included in the parade. You will receive your line-up number two days prior to the parade via email. To make this a festive event, we kindly ask all participants to hand out beads and/or candy. For safety measures, please DO NOT throw any larger items from your vehicles. This is a family-friendly event, so please DRESS to impress--DON'T UNDRESS TO IMPRESS! You will be asked to exit the parade line-up if your costuming or float theme is deemed inappropriate. Team Cleveland and the Chamber of Commerce reserve the right to make all participation decisions up to and during the event to maintain a positive atmosphere for all! The parade is free for all spectators and kid friendly!
