Octoberfest has served as the largest festival in Bolivar County. The weekend is jam packed with food, music, arts, and entertainment for the entire family! Join us in historic downtown Cleveland, Mississippi on October 13-14th for the classic BBQ battle, artistic showcase, and some awesome Delta jam sessions! Vendor applications for arts and crafts will be live soon, and we look forward to hosting you! This year’s festivities will include a barbecue contest sanctioned by the Memphis BBQ Network, the Mississippi Delta State Barbecue Championship, arts and crafts, children’s activities, and live entertainment on Saturday evening! Octoberfest is also a contest on the Delta BBQ Battle circuit, which awards $10,000 to the Championship team and $3,000 to the Patio team with the highest cumulative score from three of the four contests on the circuit. With the participants hungrier than ever for competition, the food is sure to be out of this world!
